The Taupo¯ & Tu¯rangi Weekender supports Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Ma¯ori, the Ma¯ori Language Commission's campaign to increase New Zealanders' te reo Ma¯ori vocabulary by running a different Ma¯ori word to learn each week.
