Worthwhile speaker

Ihave been privileged, and I emphasise privileged, to hear ChrisGrahamfrom the Te AwamutuYouth Development Trust speaking at continuing education about the TeAwamutu Boxing Academy, of the BillyGrahamYouth Foundation.

Unfortunatelymanypeople would be discouraged by the wording of ‘boxing’ in the advertising and missed that itwasan illuminating address.

Chris uses his experiences of his life, coupled with his teaching career to enable young people. Boxingmaynot be considered to be the ultimate aim but rather life skills and for those of us interested in the lives of young people, it certainly gives us hope especially in uncertain times.

This worthy venture in our towndeserves all the supportwecan give andwecan do this in three ways: wecanmakea one-off donation to the bank account; wecan support the ongoing success of theacademyor thirdlywe canbecome a corporate sponsor.

For any other organisation thatmaybe looking for aworthwhile speaker, I cannot recommendChrismorehighly.
