Iwould sincerely like to thank all the people whocame tomy aid and expressed concern whenIwas knocked for a ‘six’ at about 5.35pm last Thursday, whenIwas struck by a vehicle in theCountdowncarpark.

Apart from looking rather spectacular, the accident eventually only causedmerelatively minor injuries, and Iwasbuoyed by the expressions of concern from onlookers and thosewhowanted to assist.

The incidentwas a true accident, something which occurred from an‘aligning of the stars’ rather than fault on behalf of any persons.
