SIX60 playing Claudelands Oval

-

Carrying on the latest summer tour craze, the entertainment juggernaut that is SIX60 is playing across New Zealand by reinstating their popular SIX60 Saturdays series of concerts — and their documentary SIX60: Till the Lights Go Out is hitting cinemas around the country (see page 35).

Even better they’ll be making a most welcome return to Hamilton and playing at the newly established Claudelands Oval on Saturday, February 27 next year with support from Drax Project, Mitch James, Paige and Aacacia.

To celebrate this auspicious occasion, we are giving you the chance to win one of two copies of last year’s epic release Six60 that has produced such stand out numbers as The Greatest, Please Don’t Go, Long Gone, Sundown, Raining and Never Enough among its 10 stellar tracks.

They sit comfortably alongside earlier Six60 fare which includes hits and fan favourites such as Vibes, Special, So High, Rolling Stone, Only To Be, Rivers, White Lines, Forever, Don’t Give It Up and Don’t Forget Your Roots to name but a few.

This time SIX60 is taking on some new cities and large outdoor venues. Hastings on January 23 and New Plymouth on January 30 are in the current mix!

Each concert has a handpicked line up of musical guests meaning each show is its’ own exclusive experience.

This is set to be another ground-breaking tour for the multi-platinum selling band who recently sold over 130,000 tickets to their ‘Saturdays’ tour just earlier this year.

Not to mention being the first ever Kiwi act to sell out Western Springs, twice.

Fans joining the tour will also be treated to the first live performance of some of SIX60’s latest material.

The band have been working on some brand-new tracks throughout this year.

SIX60 Saturdays 2021 will be the largest outdoor concerts that kiwi fans can attend in what feels like an eternity after lockdown.

They provide a special opportunity to spend a great day of entertainment in the sun with friends this summer!

Boasting a 100 per cent Kiwi artist line up, these fantastic outdoor events are a unique chance to see some of New Zealand’s A-List artists up on the big stage again and catch debut performances from some of our hottest new acts.

The promoters have advised that the concerts are a rain or shine event and in keeping with the ever changing Covid-19 situation have endeavoured to plan for all possibilities.

They ask patrons to please ensure when purchasing tickets that they can attend all of the reserve dates should the concerts need to be postponed due to changes in New Zealand’s Covid-19 alert levels situation.
