Help to follow your netball dreams
Last year, the Nga¯ Mokopuna o Ma¯hanga netball team from Te Puke got brand new uniforms after asking ANZ for assistance.
The social team of mums, daughters, nieces, aunties and friends had uniforms that were in desperate need of an upgrade. After applying to the ANZ Dream Delivery programme, they received a new set of uniforms.
To mark the new ANZ Premiership season, the bank is again asking netball teams — how can we help?
ANZ knows the time, the effort and determination that’s required to get to the top is immense, but no one achieves on their own. It’s the support that can make the difference in achieving goals.
The support is not limited to kit — it could be anything big, small or off-the-wall. In the past ANZ support has spanned high performance netball gear, expert coaching, court and club makeovers, to dream experiences.
In 2017 one young player was granted the opportunity to be the mini-manager of an ANZ Premiership team for a day as a reminder to continue working hard and not give up on netball dreams.
And a long-serving coach was surprised by stars of ANZ Premiership and awarded a trip to watch the Silver Ferns play in Australia, as a thank you for her commitment and inspiration she has provided to her teams over the years.
Over the past five years ANZ has supported teams, clubs, schools and players all over New Zealand to the value of nearly $500,000.
“We are proud to support netball at every level, from grassroots right up to the elite ANZ Premiership and Silver Ferns,” says ANZ head of sponsorship, Sue McGregor.
“We know sometimes all you need is just that little bit of extra help to achieve your goals, so we are committed to helping as many netball fans as we can.”
