Get well and stay well

-

Tom Burgess has lived and practiced overseas for the last 20 years and has now relocated to the Far North.

He has run clinics and specialist complementary health care programmes in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.

In 2009 Tom decided to take a break and focused on research which led him to the Physiospect analysis system which is now available at his clinic in Kerikeri.

This state of the art technology gives the opportunity to evaluate the entire body’s systems including organs, muscles, tissues, cells, etc.

It basically allows us to see the triggers which could lead to a disease process (imbalance) before it develops into a full blown condition.

Cancer, heart disease, arthritis, neurological and autoimmune disorders are increasing at an alarming rate. The latest medical research tells us that we can decrease our risk of such conditions by understanding the fundamentals of the body’s systems and cellular function.

To maintain high energy levels and a healthy vibrant body, we need to look beyond the current ‘‘fix it when it’s broke’’ mentality.

Understanding stress and its crippling effect on the body has proved to be a major break through in many modern day health conditions.

The Get Well-Stay Well Programme addresses this key component by enhancing and revitalising the nervous system.

Get Well-Stay Well also incorporates ‘Structural Integration’ which is a combination of Applied Kinesiology and Neural Organisation Technique to evaluate and correct any structural imbalances which could be caused by past physical traumas – head injuries, car accidents, whiplash that can lead to pain or lack of mobility.

Using an holistic approach, the aim is to restore health (balance) and vibrancy (youthfulness) back to your system. To do this effectively requires looking at the underlying ‘cause’ (the driver) and not getting sidetracked by treating symptoms (disease management).

Science tells us that the body is constantly trying to regenerate itself and given the correct environment and conditions is effectively a self healing organism.
