So many great places in north

Geoff Tilley, guest house proprietor, Waipapa Rotary member and past president.

- What do you like about the Far North? How long have you lived here and where are you originally from? What do you like least and how can we fix it? What’s your favourite eatery? Your highlight of the week? If I were the Far North mayor I’d... When I’ve g

It’s got to be the people. We know and love many people from all walks and varieties of life.

They’ve all been lovely, friendly and beautiful people.

Fifty-five years, born and bred in the UK.

After a very traumatic but short personal tragedy I moved to New Zealand and I’ve loved every minute of my 13 years here.

While there are always bad dog owners who let the side down, if I was mayor I would make dog friendly places far more available.

I love socialising.

And refer back to my favourite eatery question and the question about what I like best about the Far North.

In the digital age we need to do more than export meat and milk and films is where we need to be and [New Zealand filmmaker] Peter Jackson would lead that.
