Police investigating the death of a man in Wellington are calling on people with information to come forward and ‘‘do the right thing by his family’’. Bruce Maurice Coker, 49, was found lying beside the road with head injuries at Rossiter St in Linden late on Saturday. He was taken to Wellington Hospital, where he died early Tuesday morning, prompting police to upgrade their assault investigation to a homicide.
