Crash driver sought

A driver of a 4WD fled after hitting and injuring a motorcyclist in Upper Hutt. Police were appealing to the driver to come forward, as well as any witnesses to yesterday’s crash near the Silverstream bridge. Officers were called to the scene at 10.30am. A woman was taken to Hutt Hospital with moderate knee injuries, Wellington Free Ambulance said. There were no other injury reports.
