A bit of TLC

-

Don’t go chasing TLC, they’re coming to you. It has been two decades since the R’n’B group released hits like Waterfalls and No Scrubs, but TLC says ‘‘better late than never’’ for their first visit to New Zealand. The two remaining members of TLC – Tionne ’’T-boz’’ Watkins and Rozonda ’’Chilli’’ Thomas – will be touring Australia and New Zealand in November, hitting Wellington, Tauranga, and Auckland. TLC have sold more than 65 million records worldwide and won five Grammy Awards, but were hit by tragedy in 2002 when the third member, Lisa ‘‘Left Eye’’ Lopes, was killed in a car accident in Honduras. T-Boz and Chilli have continued to make music, having recently announced they will release a new album this year, their first in more than 10 years. Tickets will be available to the public from today at noon. They play Wellington’s Michael Fowler Centre on November 10, Tickets at ticketek.co.nz.
