Hendry second

-

New Zealand’s Michael Hendry has finished tied for second in the latest tournament on the Japan Golf Tour. Hendry finished 10 shots under the card at 278, after finishing with a three-under-par 69 on the final day at the RIZAP KBC Augusta tournament, played at the Keya Golf Club in Itoshima. He finished five shots behind winner Ryo Ishikawa, of Japan, and had to settle for a share of second with Japan’s Tadahiro Takayama and Australian Brad Kennedy. Hendry, who is ranked 199th in the world, shot a fiveunder 67 in the opening round, before carding two rounds of 71 on days two and three. But the Aucklander did enough in the final round to walk away with almost $100,000 in prizemoney.
