Secure a place in Kairangi Rise

-

ANEW DEVELOPMENT in Miramar will combine highly specified, user-friendly homes with spectacular sun and views.

Kairangi Rise, at 104A Maupuia Rd, is a subdivision of 26 stand-alone and semi-detached dwellings on freehold, elevated sites with wide vistas across Miramar to Mt Matthews.

The first stage will be ready for occupying in late 2017 and are for sale by negotiation from $685,0000.

‘‘It’s not just the panoramic views and year-round sun that will distinguish these three- and four-bedroom homes,’’ Craig Lowe, of Lowe & Co Realty, says.

‘‘They’ll also stand out for their ecofriendly construction and features, indooroutdoor living and individual, highlyspecified design.

‘‘It’s rare to be able to buy into a development in which each house will have its own character.’’

Claddings will range from cedar and weatherboard to cement and profiled metal, and there will be a choice of flat or pitched roofs.

Floor areas will range from 120 square metres to 185.5sqm, and sections will extend up to 538sqm.

‘‘Every home will have two bathrooms, internal-access garaging or off street parking, and open-plan living/dining areas and kitchens that open to patios, decks or lawns,’’ Lowe says.

‘‘One of the four-bedroom houses will particularly suit families wanting outdoor space because it will have both a patio and flat lawn.

‘‘And the flagship home, which we expect to sell for above a million dollars, will have three living areas, including a media room, and 270-degree views of Cook Strait, the Orongorongos and Miramar.’’

All kitchens will have engineered stone benchtops, induction cooktops, in-built ovens, double sinks, and DishDrawer dishwashers.

Flooring options will include wooden overlay or carpet in the living/dining areas, and tiles in the kitchens and bathrooms; bathroom fixtures will include a soft close toilet, chrome tapware and quality whiteware.

‘‘This development is unique for its mix of individually designed homes that are lowmaintenance, eco-friendly and elevated for sun and outlook,’’ Lowe says.

He expects them to appeal to professionals, families and investors because of their easy-care lifestyle and convenient location.

‘‘They will be within a few minutes’ walk of Miramar’s village, close to some of Wellington’s best beaches and the airport, and handy to the city.

‘‘And because they’re on freehold title, owners won’t have to worry about body corporate fees.’’
