Don Brash takes a swipe at PM John Key calling it quits

Former National leader has savaged the man who rolled him for the party’s leadership, saying John Key has achieved ‘‘almost nothing of major significan­ce’’ in his eight years as prime minister. He has anointed Judith Collins as his personal preference to become the country’s next leader, saying Bill English is the only person suitable to be finance minister. Brash told media Key had ‘‘actually left many big challenges undealt with’’, including the country’s housing crisis.
