UK band The Darkness will fall on New Zealand for their first tour here in 2017. They’re also bringing Kiwi grunge-pop legends Push Push with them on their threedate tour. Expect Push Push’s biggest anthem, Trippin’, along side Darkness’ classics I Believe In A Thing Called Love, Growing On Me and Love is Only a Feeling. It’s a major reunion for Push Push, the first time they have performed together in 24 years. Frontman Mikey Havoc joins guitarist Silver, lead Andy Kane, bassist Steve Abplanalp and drummer Scott Cortese. They play Auckland on April 20, Wellington’s Hunter Lounge at Victoria University on April 21 and Christchur­ch’s The Foundry on April 22. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmast­er for Auckland and Ticketek for Wellington and Christchur­ch.
