Cyclist killed

A cyclist was killed after a collision with a logging truck in Gisborne yesterday morning. The serious crash unit were investigating the incident on Awapuni Rd, near the town’s airport. The cyclist, a 42-year-old local man, died at the scene. A section of nearby State Highway 35 was closed while the crash site was cleared.
