Four in final

-

Tirau greyhound trainer Karen Walsh and breeder and owner Gary Harding, appear to hold a mortgage on the NZRS Graduation Final at Cambridge tonight. They qualified four members of the talented Sergio– Thrilling Ella litter after two heats, restricted to NZ-bred greyhounds, last Thursday. Thrilling Raider has made a superb start to his racing career, having won 11 of his 12 starts (third in the other) and displayed brilliant track sense when delivering his 25.80s heat win. The only concern around his claims are his tardy starts but drawing the rails is a likely assist. Thrilling Surge won the other heat in 25.85s and he holds sound claims while litter siblings Thrilling Wilson and Thrilling Hettie are sound back-ups for the Tirau team.
