Aotearoa Summer Read is an initiative by New Zealand Book Council to help promote the reading, borrowing and purchasing of New Zealand books. Six Kiwi authors – Albert Wendt, Carl Nixon, Catherine Chidgey, Kelly Ana Morey, Leeanna Morgan and Jenny Pattrick – have all helped create a booklist for this campaign.
