Today CINEMATIC CENTURY OF CYCLING

A collection of cycling movies, profession­al and homemade, from the audiovisua­l archive of Nga Taonga Sound & Vision. Highlights include cycle safety films and commercial­s spanning 40 year and New Zealand’s first cycle race around Mt Taranaki in 1911. Taranaki St; 5.30pm-6.30pm. Tickets $10/$8 concession.

STAND-UP COMEDY SHOW

The Medicine Stand-up Comedy Show brings a weekly dose of fresh laughs, Wellington comics and guest appearance­s by visiting comedians, as well as showcasing the rising stars in the Capital comedy scene. The Fringe Bar, Allen St; 8pm. Tickets $10/$5 students.

Free JAZZ, DANCE AND REGGAE

is a Wellington-based, 12-piece multicultu­ral band including Kiwi, African, Cuban, Korean and English members. The band’s sound incorporat­es Afro jazz, African dance rhythm and roots reggae. They play The Rogue and Vagabond, Garrett St; 9.30pm tomorrow. R18.
