Obligations to payer

- DAVID J MILLER Paraparaumu

When I worked, I paid taxes. My employer expected me to turn up on time and be in a fit state and capable of working. If I had been drug-tested and failed, I would probably have lost my job. So as an employee I had obligations to the company that paid me.

The Greens’ policy is to pay the benefit (paid for out of my taxes) to those who need it but with no obligations for receiving that payment. So, I worked to pay taxes so that beneficiaries could receive a benefit, I had obligations as an employee to my employer (the one that paid me) but with the Greens’ proposed policy beneficiaries should not have any obligations?

Seems to me that something is very wrong here.
