Phone sale goes wrong

A man who sold his phone on Facebook was confronted by a knifewielding buyer when he came to collect it. Officers responded to a report of a robbery on a street corner in Aranui, Christchurch, about 8.50pm on Sunday, police said. The supposed buyer – a man wearing black pants and a black jacket – took the phone and left on foot. A dog unit attended, but police had not yet found the offender.
