Body found on driveway

Police are still trying to piece together the events that led to a woman’s body being discovered in Auckland’s Mt Roskill on Sunday. The 34-year-old’s body was found on a driveway, opposite Mt Roskill Primary School, about 1.40am. Police said ambulance staff were the first on the scene, which was a long, dead-end driveway with several adjacent industrial businesses. Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Armstrong said an autopsy of the body was to be performed yesterday and the death was still being treated as unexplained. Formal identification had not yet taken place.
