Service station robbed

Three men armed with a baseball bat robbed a Napier service station for cigarettes and cash. Police said they were called about 1.15am yesterday, after three offenders entered the Gull service station on Taradale Rd in the suburb of Marewa. It was reported the men were armed with a baseball bat, police said. They made off with cigarettes and a small amount of cash. Inquiries were ongoing.
