Big guns in FA Cup semis

The two most successful teams in the FA Cup have avoided each other in the semifinals after yesterday’s draw. Arsenal, 13-time champions, will play Manchester City, and 12-time winners Manchester United face Chelsea. The matches will take place at Wembley over the July 18-19 weekend. Yesterday, Chelsea advanced to the last four with a 1-0 win at Leicester, Arsenal beat Sheffield United 2-1 and cup holders Man City defeated Newcastle 2-0. In yesterday’s only Premier League game, striker Danny Ings scored twice to reach 18 goals as Southampton won 3-1 at struggling Watford. Southampton moved up one place to 13th and are a comfortable 13 points clear of the relegation zone. But 16th-place Watford remain one point above the drop zone with six games left.
