Lake Lyndon
Most popular with boaties and fishing enthusiasts, this is also a spectacular spot for a stroll or a picnic whilst admiring the stunning mountain reflections on the glassy (sometimes icy) water. Lyndon Road off State Highway 73 (just after Porter's Pass from Springfield).
Cust & Districts Historical Records Society
Set in the dinkiest of buildings and surrounded by neatly trimmed hedges, the museum has total immersion experiences and is crammed with fascinating photos and memorabilia. Open Sunday 2pm-4pm and by appointment. 1725 Main Road, Cust.

The Cust War Memorial
Originally unveiled in 1922 to remember those in the Cust district who served in WWI, this memorial's polished column of colonial granite was toppled by 2010 earthquake and has since been completely rebuilt using the original materials. It was re-dedicated on Anzac Day 2013. Oxford-Rangiora Road.
Arts in Oxford
This gallery is a buzzing little hub of creativity on Oxford's main street, full of local art as well as national, and sometimes international, artists and makers.
