Ruakaka

Ruakaka has a smaller population than Waipu, but has the largest supermarket in the area (Fresh Choice) as well as a decent shopping centre. The refinery provides work for a large number of the population and it's generally more established and traditional than the glistening homes north and south. It has retained its charm, which has become rare in areas where waves are audible from the bedroom.
