Ivan Vostinar, whose gallery is at the rejuvenating seaside suburb of Castlecliff, says Whanganui is the best artistic centre per capita in New Zealand. He used to live in Wellington and made ceramics for the Hobbit films. With savings from that gig, he was able to buy his gallery freehold.
