Puppy glut spurs plea for food

- SARA MEIJ

Nelson SPCA is in need of canned puppy food to feed the 13 puppies they now have in their care.

Two months ago the animal shelter took in six puppies after they were dumped on their driveway.

Those puppies have found new homes, but the SPCA has since had another influx of pups; two litters of 12 pups total.
