Ko’s bad start

-

Lydia Ko will have some work to do in her second round at the Women’s British Open after a disappointing opening round. Ko carded a twoover 74 round at Milton Keynes, including four bogeys and two birdies, to sit 12 strokes off the leader, South Korea’s Mirim Lee, who shot a 10-under 62. Lee equaled the lowestever round at the Women’s British Open as she secured a three-stroke advantage over Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand, who carded a bogey-free round of 65 at Woburn Golf Club. Lee matched Minea Blomqvist’s 10-under 62 in the third round of the 2004 British Open at Sunningdale.
