Big win for MGC

The Marlborough Girls’ College First XI footballers notched up a sizeable win in their only game at the Gary Sowden tournament at Avonhead Park, Christchurch yesterday. They beat Buller High School 16-0 with five goals to Ruby Smith, three to Tiana Williams and Yule Von Freier, two to Rebecca Stuart and one apiece to Shannon Hewetson, Alicia McLeod and Kate Rawcliffe. Their first game today is against Carmel of Auckland at 9.30am.
