Kohli superb

-

Captain Virat Kohli compiled an unbeaten century to put India in a commanding position on the first day of the opening cricket test against the West Indies in Antigua yesterday. Kohli was on 143 at the close of play, his 12th test century, as India reached 302-4. He shared a 105-run stand for the third wicket with opener Shikhar Dhawan (84) while Ravichandran Ashwin was 22 not out at stumps. Kohli was rarely beaten in the 197 balls he faced, scoring freely on both sides of the wicket, as he posted his second highest test score and moved in sight of a career-best 169.
