I’m always amused when someone takes personal offence, contrives pseudo-outrage, and goes all holier than thou – especially, when their concocted objection is patently preposterous.
Craig Morice (August 18) absurdly feigned that I’d been disrespectful and somehow untoward in making mention of the cycle accidents of councillors McGurk and Lawrey.
I wasn’t part of the coincidence which involved two vociferous, anti-Link-ers so how I offended I can’t begin to imagine.
Mr Morice warbled how my stance, ‘‘told us a lot’’ – but exactly what? Solicitors are usually attentive to crossed-t’s and dottedi’s, yet his letter failed signally to quantify what squealing minority his ‘‘us’’ might represent.
