Rojas jobless
All Whites wing Marco Rojas is looking for work after being released from his German football club VFB Stuttgart. The team’s youth squad twitter page confirmed the news yesterday, stating that Rojas’ ‘‘contract was terminated by mutual agreement’’. The 24-year-old now becomes a free agent. Rojas never seemed to find favour with Stuttgart management after transferring to the team from the Melbourne Victory in 2013. He played just one game for the club’s top team and was restricted to four appearances for the second team. Rojas’ next move remains unknown, but he will likely to try to secure another deal in Europe. But, if that fails, he will have plenty of suitors in the A-League. He has played 25 times for the All Whites.
