No comparison

After reading Derek Cuff’s letter on Wednesday several times, I still cannot figure out what he is on about. He has been touring New Zealand from the UK and is now an “expert” on all the problems that we have.

I am a Brit who has been here for more than 40 years. I was more than happy to leave a nation that is still very class conscious and come to a country where who you are as a person is more important than your perceived status in society. Yes, we do have our problems but generally we get on pretty well with each other.
