Pakistan take series

A late goal by Canterbury striker Sam Lane earned New Zealand a 1-1 draw in their fifth and final men’s hockey international against Pakistan in Clareville, Wairarapa, last night. The result gives the 14th-ranked Pakistan side a 2-1 series victory over the eighth-ranked Black Sticks.
