Washington calling shots

It seems more than coincidence that following the recent visit to New Zealand of high-powered US intelligence people, our PM announces the NZ CAA has been instructed to look into increasing the security vetting of people travelling from the same Muslim nations President Trump tried to restrict from entering the USA, only to meet opposition through the US courts.

The PM also strongly emphasised that we are allies of the USA , implying where America goes we go in support of its aggressive activities in various parts of the world.
