‘Fake news’ on Trump

-

When American sneezes the rest of the world catches the flu. New Zealanders need accurate American political news because what is genuinely happening there impacts on our financial and economic decisions.

Some good stuff is happening and going largely unreported. There has been a steady stream of one-sided, biased and in many cases unfair anti-Trump vitriol and mockery coming out of NZ media since he stood as candidate last year.

Immediately after Comey’s evidence last week before the Senate intelligence committee the Dow soared to new heights, indicating hundreds of attorneys around the country saw no evidence of Trump obstructing justice.

The constant mantra that the Trump team colluded with the Russians in the election has not a shred of evidence. A sliver of evidence would be huge front page news for weeks — instead all we have had is unsubstantiated fake news.

The Emperor had no clothes and those parroting the Russian collusion story looked just as stupid at the end of evidence by Comey and Jeff Sessions last week. The real issue is that the Left can’t accept they lost and Trump won.

It would be so refreshing to read an article detailing the good stuff that Trump has already achieved, particularly in the economy, removal of red tape, new jobs and as a result of his incredibly successful Middle East tour — all reasons why the Dow is soaring. J. McKeown, Red Beach.
