Jetstar introduces gift cards in New Zealand

-

Jetstar is launching a range of gift cards.

The airline’s chief commercial officer, Catriona Larritt, said the airline regularly received requests from New Zealand customers for travel vouchers to give as gifts.

The Jetstar gift card can be used on jetstar.com to book flights, or flights plus accommodation and activities on its New Zealand website.

In a recent study of 450 people the airline found 75 per cent of Kiwis would prefer a travel experience to a boxed gift this Christmas.

“Giving the gift of travel is now an easy option for Christmas, birthday or graduations.”

The Jetstar gift cards are available in either $50 or $100 denominations.

The airline does warn that the card cannot be replaced if it is lost, and expires 12 months from the date of issue.

They can be purchased at giftstation.co.nz or in-store where Gift Station cards are stocked.

Jetstar last week announced it was reinstating flights between Wellington and Queenstown.
