Visit Radio Hauraki hits the road next week for New Zealand’s first brewery tour, which hits seven main centres over 10 days beginning in Nelson’s McCashin’s Brewery on Wednesday, June 6, and winds up in Dunedin’s New New New Corporatio­n on Friday, June 15. J n SOne of the best annual mountain-biking events in New Zealand is on next Sunday in Taupo. The Craters Classic, which begins and ends at Wairakei Resort, is a XC single-track ride on some of the Craters MTB Park’s 80kms of mud-free pumice-based tracks. There are three course lengths to choose from — Short & Sweet ( 15km), In the Middle ( 30km) and Long & Hard (45km) — and separate age categories for each. You’ve got until June 8 to register for this great race.
