On nastiness

So the Herald thinks the abusive, bigoted behaviour of never Trumpers in the US is Trump’s fault. Love the logic, but it should come as no surprise since liberals don’t seem to understand personal responsibility.

Mark McCluskey, Red Beach.

On temperature

Wednesday morning may well have been “Auckland’s coldest morning in three years”, but your reporter’s assertion that it “got down to -2.4C” is plainly incorrect. The minimum air temperature, officially measured by MetService, was 1.9C, as reported on your own weather page.

Barry Nesdale, Bethlehem.

On accident

Could the police please explain in some detail why they take so long to complete their site examination of a fatal road accident. I accept a fatality has to be thoroughly examined but 8-plus hours?

Jock Mac Vicar, Hauraki.
