Tree fall death

One person died and another had critical injuries after a tree fell on a car in Bulls during a forestry operation yesterday. A St John spokeswoman said ambulance staff were called to a rural property in Pukehou Rd at 2.15pm. Police said the incident happened during forestry work on private property.
