Fatal crash

One person died and five others were injured last night in a crash in Levin involving a single car. Police said the crash occurred near the corner of State Highway 1 and Lindsay Rd about 7.30pm. One person died at the scene, while another was flown to Wellington Hospital in a critical condition. Four others suffered moderate to minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Palmerston North Hospital.
