Refugee boats

Auckland Mayor Phil Goff did our thinking for us and decided Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux are just too bad to use an Auckland Council venue to present their views. According Valerie Morse, Southern “boarded a boat in the Mediterranean that shot flares at medical boats seeking to rescue refugees who were drowning in the water”. Southern says she used a hand-held flare to light up a clip at night. She shows us the 2017 clip of her in a speedboat intercepting the German NGO boat Aquarius leaving an Italian port to pick up migrants from Libya.

Southern says she feels vindicated now that the Italian Government has stopped migrant boats docking in Italian ports and because Germany’s AfD MPs cited her reporting when they recently endorsed bringing human trafficking charges against the NGOs that run the boats.
