Dollar holds
The dollar gained against the pound in local trading after the resignation of chief Brexit negotiator David Davis reignited uncertainty over Prime Minister Theresa May’s grip on the British Conservative Party. The kiwi traded at 51.42p from 51.25p before Davis’ announcement, and 51.30p on Friday. It was unchanged at US68.39c and €58.14c from last week.The kiwi fell to A91.65c from A91.81c last week and to 4.5268 Chinese yuan from 4.5329. It rose to ¥75.52 from ¥75.42 last week. The TWI rose to 72.78 from 72.44 last week.
