Dollar gains

The New Zealand dollar extended its gains against the pound following resignations from British PM Theresa May’s Government. The kiwi dollar rose to 51.70 British pence from 51.42 pence. The kiwi increased to US68.45c from US68.39c. It traded at 4.5190 yuan, at 91.63 Australian cents, 76.07 yen and 58.29 euro cents. The trade-weighted index traded at 72.85 from 72.78. New Zealand’s two-year swap rate rose 1 basis point to 2.18 per cent and 10-year swaps were unchanged at 3.03 per cent.
