Girl dead 24 hours

A 17-year-old girl found murdered in Ma¯ ngere had died on Saturday, a day before her body was found at a vacant property, an autopsy has revealed. Police are continuing inquiries into the death of the girl whose body they found late on Sunday evening at a Buckland Rd house. The victim had been formally identified but police were not in a position to release her name as next of kin have yet to be informed.
