Unreliable post

Last year I sent a parcel to Christchurch. It never arrived. A friend sent a portable CD to the Rimutaka Prison last month. It never arrived. There have been several other instances.

The memorable one for me was a cheque I sent to Rainbow and Brown in Rotorua. The cheque never arrived, so I sent a second cheque which did arrive. A month later I received my first cheque back from a firm in Te Rapa where it had been delivered to a completely different address and I had fortunately put my return address on the envelope. It tells me NZ Post is in disarray.
