Bankers triumph

The Treasury’s attempt to fix their “El Cashico” football match with the Reserve Bank proved fruitless. Treasury mocked up a graphic of “Macro the Macaque” predicting a Treasury win, but it turns out that monkeys can’t be trusted, and those who control interest rates beat those who advise. The result was 3-2 for the bank, which might just inflame Treasury to fight even harder for more oversight of their neighbours across the Terrace.
