Among people objecting to phasing out single-use plastic bags are those who use them to pick up after their dogs. How do they then dispose of a bag and its contents? Keith Woodley, Miranda.

Along with banning single-use plastic bags, why would the Government not also ban single-use nappies? Oops, I forgot. Politician­s with babies in Parliament find them so much more convenient than the the multi-use nappies used years ago.
