Ferns win warm-up

The White Ferns have won their opening hit-out ahead of the Women’s Twenty20 World Cup in the Caribbean. New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in Antigua, chasing down the 99-run target with two overs to spare. Amelia Kerr took four for 13 from three overs as Sri Lanka were dismissed for 98 before Maddy Green top-scored with an unbeaten 37 in the chase. The White Ferns play the West Indies in two days for their final warm-up match before opening the World T20 tournament against India on November 10.
