Cowboy recovers

New North Queensland Cowboys winger Nene Macdonald is expected to make a full recovery and start training with his new NRL club next month after being assaulted in Papua New Guinea. MacDonald was struck on the head by a bottle at a Port Moresby hotel on Saturday night. A Cowboys spokesman said Macdonald has recovered and is flying back to Australia and is expected to be back training by December 5.
